vegetarian recipes for interstitial cystitis

Greetings! Welcome to this collection of vegetarian and vegan ic friendly recipes. These recipes are based on my experience. I hope that they inspire you or give you some new ideas to try. Since the ic diet is quite individual, you can check the ingredient lists against what you know works or doesn't work for you. Please feel free to share your recipes or experiences with me.

About Me

My photo

I am a Canadian bookseller and a vegetarian who enjoys cooking. I started this blog for fun and in the hopes that it might help others who are going through the same thing. The ic diet has made a big difference for me. It can be a challenge, but it's definitely possible to eat a more plant based diet in combination with the ic diet, if it's meaningful for you. When I first started the ic diet, I stuck mostly to the "usually bladder friendly" column on the icn diet list and then gradually tried foods from the "foods worth trying" list over time. Any foods from the "worth trying" column are noted here as "optional" or "if tolerated". If you eat dairy, foods like eggs and unripened cheeses could be good options for you. If not, most of these recipes are vegan or can be made dairy-free. Best wishes to everyone on your healing journeys!
